Domain Portfolio Intelligence

Manage a domain portfolio as capital, not a list.

Import the information you actually know, track renewal exposure, record decisions and keep missing evidence visible instead of filling gaps with invented numbers.

Portfolio decisions

Know where renewal capital is going.

DOMALYST is designed to work without transferring domain custody. Your private portfolio can stay where it already lives while the decision context sits in one place.

Private CSV import

Import domain, acquisition, renewal and note fields you already maintain. Blank updates preserve known context rather than deleting it.

Annual renewal exposure

See known base-currency exposure while foreign-currency or missing-cost renewals remain visibly partial.

Renew / Review / Drop

Create a decision queue and keep a history of what you decided instead of treating every renewal as automatic.

Unknown stays Unknown

No acquisition price, renewal cost, buyer interest or market evidence is silently converted into zero.

Private by default

Portfolio composition, acquisition context and decision history are private account data unless you explicitly choose otherwise.

Independent

DOMALYST helps you decide. It does not require registrar transfer, custody or a transaction through DOMALYST.

Portfolio capital allocation

Make each renewal compete for capital.

A domain portfolio is a collection of future cash commitments. The useful portfolio view connects what you paid, what you know about demand, what renewal will cost, and what another use of that capital could accomplish.

Acquisition basis

Keep the acquisition price, currency and date when you know them. These facts help separate a good asset from a bad purchase price. If the basis is missing, DOMALYST keeps it Unknown instead of inventing a historical cost.

Renewal exposure

Review renewal dates and known carrying costs before they become automatic charges. Exposure is separated by currency when necessary so unlike amounts are not silently added together.

Capital at risk

Domains approaching renewal deserve more attention when meaningful acquisition capital is already tied up. That does not mean sunk cost should force a renewal; it means the decision should be visible and explicit.

Decision coverage

A portfolio with many assets but little decision history has an evidence gap. Recording Renew, Hold, Review or Drop decisions makes future reviews less dependent on memory and repeated guesswork.

Portfolio workflow

Analyze, model, decide, then record the outcome.

DOMALYST connects individual-domain evidence with portfolio economics. Each tool answers a different question instead of collapsing everything into a single score.

1. Analyze the domain

Start with the Domain Analyzer to observe registration and DNS evidence. Technical signals do not automatically become a market-value claim.

2. Set acquisition discipline

Use Max Bid when you need a scenario-based acquisition ceiling, or ROI to evaluate the economics of a price you are considering.

3. Review renewal decisions

Use the Renew or Drop framework to compare renewal cost with evidence, opportunity cost and the strength of the reason for continuing to hold the asset.

4. Preserve evidence

Decision history and outcome evidence create a private record of what you believed and what later happened. That record is more useful than retroactively rewriting a thesis after the result is known.

Portfolio intelligence is evidence support, not a promise of liquidity or future sale value. See the DOMALYST methodology for how ranges, confidence and unknowns are handled.
